My journey started from Peshawar, Pakistan where I was born and raised. Just like any other individual struggling to make ends meet, I arrived in America with hopes and dreams in the early 2000s. I was determined to give my family a better lifestyle back home and excel in my dreams.

For many years I salvaged my free time into working long hours just to get by. I had no family or a support system while abroad, but my determination to achieve success was never-ending. I opened my first business in New

Brunswick and expanded statewide. However, with much experience in the food industry, I decided to open a restaurant in a small location in Edison, New Jersey. There I learned not only to become the CEO of an authentic Pakistani restaurant but also to become one with the staff and dive right in when things got hectic.

My passion for learning and cooking increased as time went by, I ventured out of the box and experimented with different styles of cooking. I became one with the customer and wanted to display my talents allowing my viewers to virtually connect with me and learn through their screens the recipes which they want to be created right before their eyes. 

Being around people, seeing them make memories with their loved ones with smiles on their faces, and enjoying our appetizing dishes is enduring. Pukhtun Afghan Cuisine is just that! It is an adventure that we are ready to embark upon and a project which has been in the works for quite a while. My hardworking staff and I are delighted to bring to the table a taste of Pukhtuns and Afghan together as one.
